Spotlight Festival was created in Guadalajara, Mexico during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It started as a project that showcased up-and-coming artists from all over the world with short interviews uploaded to Instagram TV. The purpose of this project was to give new interesting musicians a platform that would help them reach a bigger audience.

Bands from Germany, Argentina, USA, Mexico and the UK joined Spotlight to talk about their mutual love for music. After a couple months the project started growing, and the ache to reach an even bigger audience grew. That’s when the project evolved into a festival; a festival that will follow the same motivation: give the up-and-coming their own stage.

On February 14th, the first edition of Spotlight Festival will be online and live streamed through Bandcamp Live!

Four British acts will be playing at MOTH Club for the first time in almost a year. This event is focused on revitalising the music scene after a difficult year.
