Piers Morgan quits Good Morning Britain after facing flak for insensitive comments on Meghan Markle-Prince Harry’s explosive interview

Famous Brit morning host Piers Morgan has quit his job at ITV after facing backlash for his comments on Meghan Markle. He had said that he does not believe what she had said about the royal family. In one of his tweets, he referred to Meghan as ‘Princess Pinocchio’. He said that he was entitled to freedom of speech and would not compromise on that. He tweeted, “On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate.
