A fundraiser set up to pay off Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14.6 million estates in California, United States was stopped after raising just $110. The crowdfunding page was created by 56-year-old Anastasia Hanson who said she genuinely wanted to help the royal couple and felt sorry for them. Hanson who lives about 25 minutes away from the estate in Montecito, California said she set up the GoFundMe page two days after the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. According to the reports, Hanson wanted the strangers to help donate cash and insisted that she did not start the fundraiser as a joke. During the interview, Prince Harry mentioned that his family had cut him off financially and he had been living on the inheritance left to him by his late mother, Princess Diana.

Hanson’s GoFundMe page has now been removed as she wanted Harry and Meghan’s fans to donate $5 each as they could reach their goal of $10 million. The GoFundMe page read, “I am Anastasia Hanson of Ventura, California and I am raising funds to pay off the mortgage for the Montecito, California home of Harry and Meghan.”

Well, in the archived web copy of the fundraiser it is showed that $110 has been raised by three people out of which $5 was donated by Ms. Hanson herself. Earlier Harry and Meghan have signed multi-million dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix.
