Amidst Jennifer Lopez-Ben Affleck’s alleged affair, ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez’s ‘chilling’ pics go viral
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s split after being together for five years came as a shock to many. Quite a few were heartbroken as they were rooting for Alex and Jennifer to settle in matrimony. But soon after they parted ways, reports of Jennifer rekindling her love with Batman star Ben Affleck hit headlines. The actress was spotted chilling with Ben on various occasions and they seem to have connected well again. In fact, reports also have it that Jennifer had a stayover at Ben’s home recently. Amidst all of this, Alex Rodriguez was spotted dining solo in NYC.
A picture of Alex having food all alone at a restaurant called Bar Pitti in the South Village has gone viral on social media. The picture seems him dressed in casuals while enjoying his meal. Reportedly, a few pictures show four bottles of sparkling water on the table suggesting that he had company. He also smiled at cameras and showed a thumbs up. Talking Jen and Ben’s romance, HollywoodLife reported a source saying that Alex is aware of everything that is happening.
A source told the portal, “Alex is well aware of all the happenings with her and Ben, but he is trying to stay away from it as much as possible,” further adding, “He doesn’t want to fall down a rabbit hole and feel bad over something he can no longer control. He knows he will get back on track and work will lead him there but as for now he is trying to avoid the Ben and Jen that seems to be on everyone’s minds.”
It was in April that Alex and Jennifer announced their split by issuing a joint statement. They mentioned that they are better off as friends and would keep supporting each other in the future. The statement read, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
