All you need to know about Dhanush’s role in the Ryan Gosling-Chris Evans starrer from The Avengers’ Russo Brothers


A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that our Kolaveri Di hit-maker, our Rowdy Baby is soon going to make his Hollywood debut and that too in Russo Brothers’ film. For the unversed, we are talking about Maari actor Dhanush who has grabbed a pivotal role in Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans starrer film, The Gray Man. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. Recently, in online interaction, the author opened up on the Hollywood adaptation of They Gray Man and Dhanush’s role in the film. While discussing the movie production, Greaney confessed that he hasn’t seen Dhanush’s films and is not aware of his stardom. And while talking, Mark went on to spill the beans on Dhanush’s role in The Gray Man. Mark Greaney teased the film enthusiasts saying, ” It is fascinating to me that they cast an Indian actor Dhanush, whom I am not familiar with. I assume he plays one of the heads of the kill team that is after Court Gentry (played by Gosling).” Greaney also opened up on his first brush-up with Dhanush’s popularity on social media. He confessed that he had never known how popular Dhanush is until he visited his Twitter account. “I have some 6000 followers on Twitter and it is nothing special. Then Dhanush followed me on Twitter, the Indian actor who is going be in The Gray Man. I was like wow he is following me and he has some 9.7 million followers. He is a very big deal,” Mark gushed about Dhanush. Furthermore, he revealed that he has seen a few video clips of Dhanush and is looking forward to seeing him in the movie.
